Topic: First time backing up

Hello, this is my first post here I’m sorry if it’s in the wrong place.

I just got a 4TB external hard drive and have put all my games on it so I can take them on the go. I’ve never backed up my PS4 and figured it'd probably be a smart thing to do. I’ve seen videos how to back it up, my question is how much space does a backup usually take and how often would you recommend doing it? Also, if I were to back it up and then say back it up a month from now, would it make duplicates of what’s already been backed up or only back up what’s new.

I have PS plus and I know that does it but I’d also like to have it physically backed up in my hand.

Make sure nothing is behind you, and make sure the vehicle is in the reverse gear. That's the best advice I can give you.
