@themcnoisy Boxart would be really cool as plenty bad games have good art and it gives us a chance to plumb the depths and show off lesser known games!

Soundtrack is worth a shout, as anyone can take to YouTube if they wish to have a listen should they want to. And a great soundtrack can make a huge difference to the experience.

@nessisonett yup agreed. Although I am moving closer to worst sequel or most overhyped game. That could be very interesting. (plus I'm super crap at uploading pictures)

@themcnoisy I think the only problem with the ‘negative’ polls is that they might cause a few arguments! I do reckon there’ll be a few divisive games there like FFXIII or personally for me, Bloodborne 😉

@themcnoisy that’s true but I’d like to make it all official like and it’d be good to really dig into the asses we’ve all been looking at for the past half decade or so

@nessisonett That said I too dislike Bloodborne. But I know it's not bad, just personal opinion and not for me. The quality and overall feel of the game is spot on.

The gameplay loop is marmite. I dislike wasting x amount of time learning a routine and potentially losing half an hours worth of progress. For others that's magical.

Bloodborne is a game I was not excited about playing, and that I have no real lingering desire to replay (or for a sequel, though I’d certainly pick it up)... but damn did I have a great time playing through it. It just drips with class!

I still hear that dolls voice in my dreams.

@themcnoisy I get flak from friends cause I’m a huge Souls fan and loved Nioh but really dislike BB. I’m not going into it here for fear of retribution 😂😂

Worst sequel is Phantom Pain after Ground Zeroes for me. Or is that most disappointing sequel. Or are those the same thing.

@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy sound, I think box art is taking an early lead. We may have to run a poll to sort this one out. Unless someone can think of a tiebreaker?

@kyleforrester87 there are so many weak follow ups. Halo 4, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Resident Evil 6, Fallout 4, Anything after Trials HD, Mass Effect Andromeda, CoD MW3, Super Monkey Ball 2. Woah woah woah Ive just recalled Rogue Squadron 3 from the Gamecube. Omg Rogue Squadron 2 was the best Star Wars game ever made, anyone who had played it couldn't wait for the announced sequel. Fantastic throughout and the graphics and atmosphere were sublime, amazing straight from the movie missions you felt like a force bearing x wing ninja. For Rogue Squadron 3 they added quite possibly the worst ever implementation of 3rd person adventuring. It was so bad, so immersion breaking and so calamitous the series ended right there at release.

@nessisonett I bought the ps4 redo from a few weeks ago. No idea why they added bosses and stupid gimmicks.

My vote would be for best franchise, but I like best soundtrack and best box art too since those would both be much easier to administer a poll about since it’s more objective and straightforward. I would love to debate all the great franchises and their highs and lows, but there will be a large variability of people’s experience with them. Like someone mentioned, the box art and the soundtrack can easily be googled and anyone can have an opinion even if you never played the game.

But I’ll go along with whatever the community decides.
