So i've searched around to see if theres any games even typed it in the search tab found nothing. So my question is, is there any games similar to Assassins Creed Odyssey ? I really liked the story, open world, Sword fighting/stealth attacks and taking over forte's and stuff so ye is there any games very similar out there? with the following.
-Really big open world.
-Taking over bases.
-Close up combat with weapons.
-Really good story with alot of content.
Again couldn't find anything similar to AC anywhere if there is and I am blind I apologize.
@Davehunt Before you this gets closed, the most logical answer is Assassins Creed: Origins - trad Greece for Egypt but its very much the same - an excellent game too.
The Witcher 3 does have some similarity but no bases to clear. Its deeper and darker with more choices that have consequence - even a side quest can impact on the main story. There are other games that have some aspect but different too - Spider-Man for example has 'bases' and close up combat most of the time - more a brawler but very different to Assassins Creed. Whilst some may disagree, I thought Spider-Man was very Ubisoft in its Open World design with 'towers' to view part of the world and locate things, bases to conquer etc. Horizon: Zero Dawn is a great game too with great combat and a great world. There are a few that could fit in if you are not quite as strict to the AC:Odyssey template

Looking at your criteria I'd say almost every single game made by Ubisoft fits the bill. If you want more AC then Syndicate is a brilliant game. Due to it releasing when AC fatigue hit critical mass it's often overlooked.
