So I’ve got a ps3 which was originally connected to a tv which isn’t working, so I’ve now got a computer monitor but seemingly with no audio system. What’s the easiest way to set up the audio for my ps3, I.e. through speakers or something, and if so what do I need to get or what’s recommended?

Do you have a music system you can set up close by?

Using Optical Out works well and won't require you to send the hdmi signal eslewhere.

@mollygallagher the easiest way is to connect the AV cable that came with the system (or an old PS2 one if you have one, that's the Yellow, Red and White one) and connect them to a stereo system, then in the settings menu set the sound to output from the AV instead of the HDMI
