Fifa 09 and 10 for Very Important as it was those that made the franchise worth playing again apart from just wanting it to play as your own team.

@AdamNovice Agreed you are the only person who has played Fifa too I think Ad. I was gonna ask what you thought!

@themcnoisy - i've only played FIFA 09 on PS3 (and FIFA 14 on PS4). as far as i know, the last few editions on PS3 have been "legacy", so it's basically exactly the same as the previous game with updated squads/kits.

09 was when the new gameplay and systems overtook the old Pro evo formula in most people's eyes. 10 extended that forward. 12 introduced tactical defending. 13 was when my club took off. From Fifa 15 the current gen consoles version has been the proper version of the game.

@themcnoisy Sounds good to me, 09 and 10 were the big ones. The only one I'd argue is 17 because that added Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium to a game for the first time since the Premier League AllStars games back on the PSOne. So for me it should be VERY IMPORTANT. Though full disclosure, I'm using different metrics to come to that ranking then the ones we've been using

Just a little update I forgot about and also a run down of what happens next.

We are over a third of the way through this section. (once these results are in).

After we have compiled all these games into the respective lists we will split into 2 teams @kidfried will be running the Existing order list @Frigate will be running the Not Important list. So we can quickly establish an overall order for those lists.

Next we will concentrate on the most pointless games which will be fun and then the meat of the whole thread in ordering the important and very important games!
