@themcnoisy: no way! I traded most of my stuff in and also received the alleged ultra rare pink heart boost......
Not so rare then, I now feel like an idiot sporting it out on the field. Mind you, you were right about the 'nice chord' haha.
Being able to alter the quick chat settings is a welcome addition too though

So, is the pink heart boost a 'painted' item or something? I just booted this game up again today since some time. The item trophies are looking like they're a real grind to obtain...

@Kidfried: Nope it will say, I have a painted hat it says painted in the item management screen. Same with certified items of which I also have a certified Spanish hat - pray to god you don't get the turtle or reverse goals certified item in a random drop as once you procure a certified item you can level them up by different means. Those are super tough. My item is clearances of which I'm sat on 110 in the last few days. I'm expecting to re 100% the game in a couple of days as I need 200 clearances to veteran the item.

On the tournament front I'm unsure how many of us are still playing.

@Kidfried: I assume you mean the decals for your vehicle? It is a boost trail that emits pretty pink hearts! You have to trade in 5 toppers to get 1 rare item which so far i have received either a rare topper or decal item. And then when you have 5 rare toppers, you can trade them for an ultra rare item for which I have had the heart trail boost and a lightning boost.
The only problem I have is that when I get a decal, they only go on one of the vehicles and none of them go on the only chariot I ever use.bah.
And for the trophies, as McNoisy mentioned above, I too am not quite sure what the last few are and how to obtain them??? The others I assume can be easily gotten on single player, though I haven't tried myself as I just get sucked into online games, can't help it, it's like auto pilot when I boot it up

@A1RB4G: I've got 2x certified hats. One to perform clearances (now on 120 need 200 for trophy) and another for epic saves.

The painted item is an item but with a different colour to normal, different to the decals. I have one, again its a hat but with a white colour. Will send a message over to the RL group message thread.

You could already have one in your inventory.

Oh right, I never use the toppers or antennas, that would explain my confusion. Nice one, I will have to have a look when I'm on next.

Whos up for another Tournament, to be played on Tuesday the 19th at 10pm? I was thinking a doubles cup. Then a knockout 1 player cup in the same night. Everyone up for that? We need 8 people. Can't wait till the 19th. I picked up playing online again for a moment, but man... the players are unbearable.

A lot of people leave matches, often they're just flying around and performing "tricks", one player even started playing against me and they'd rather insult my mother then even play at all.

@Kidfried: Yeah I've noticed that too. Its worse in ranked matches, go 2 goals down and the forfeit comes up - I hate that 2 goals is nothing sometimes. So yeah the community is getting worse on RL.

@themcnoisy Maybe we should play more often together then. I love the feeling of being two goals behind sometimes, just trying to make a comeback. It's great about Rocket League that these kind of comebacks are possible if you try hard enough (and your mate doesn't give up on you).

Most of the time I do lose those kind of games, but still...

@themcnoisy Had a great time playing together those two games. Too bad we couldn't talk by mic, how does that work again? Twice we got behind two goals and made a comeback. A combination of good teamwork, Noisy going rampage and the occasional blunder.

Oh, and Noisy, sorry for that last game! My girlfriend was at the door and had to open it for her, so I missed the first 10 seconds of the sudden death. Oops... At least we won anyway.
