Topic: Push Square Game Night

Ok guys on the heels of me cancelling the first game night I thought it would be better if I put some more planning into this. So I am going to be asking a few things here feel free to answer the questions and give any suggestions you might have. This is mainly to get a feel to how many people here would be interested in a community event and what type. As of now nothing is concrete so there is plenty of room to work with.

1) What games would you like to participate in if Push Square did a game night?

2). What days would work best for you? And how soon would you like to be given notice that a game night is coming up?

3). If possible would you like it to be streamed?

4). What type of activities would you be interested in? For example Team death match type competitive games or something like running dungeons together in Diablo where we help each other out?

5} Would you mind me extending the invite to folks over at Pure Xbox or Nintendolife?

6}. Anything else you would like to suggest or add?

So there you have it guys lets see what we can do.

1) Anything with strong MP components, Fifas, CoDs, and Destinys are typical choices. Wouldn't mind games like Helldivers, Magika 2 and Towerfall get a look in.
2) Fridays always seem good but the main problem is time really. Especially if it's people in America and Europe. Maximum of 5 days notice should be fine.
3) If it's doable then great, might also ge a good idea to upload the stream onto your YouTube channel afterwards.
4) I think some kind of voting system would be good, choose a handful for people to vote on then play whatever wins.
5) Absolutely, especially if it's a competitive game. Can add some good old fashioned banter to proceedings.
6) Not much I can add but what I will say is that it might take awhile to get enough people interested on a more regular basis but it's worth doing. Offering more things for this community to get involved in will do the site the world of good. Hope my feedback proved useful.

I'm up for it, would have played Diablo tonight if it wernt for Destiny. Friday evening/Saturday or Sunday all day works with a bit of notice. Most games should work

We just did vault of glass and it was great. 1) any ps plus games as we all have them 2) I could do most evenings (from 8:30pm uk time) but there has to be a week of notice due to family and work commitments 3) I wouldn't mind it being streamed but you will have to accept that we should spend some time together first (online) else the conversation only extends to the game. 4) coop games, but with a focus - like obtaining (item here) or getting to (place here) or completing (task here). 5) definitely let the console wars rage 6) destiny tonight worked well as we had 4 people just about at the same level and 2 experienced guys helping out - literally ordering us army style, and it got us through (big shout to mead for the support). But most importantly we should play some games together first and just chat in a party. Wesker and I ran a couple of strikes initially and he helped me with a story mission I was stuck on which definitely helped with the raid.

I'm happy to join up with some destiny stuff, I'm once more a slave, happy to go along with whatever and free most evenings/weekends.

I am up for joining any game nights for the games I have. You should have one for the time zone in Europe & one for the time zone in the US

You should keep updating the thread and post what time can people play, i would gladly join you guys

I can play everyday after work and Saturday/Sunday when im not watching football (the real one)

From 21:00 (UTC) onward = 22:00 (CET) = 13:00 (PST) on weekdays

But everything with a decent MP, im very into Diablo 3 and Revelations 2 nowadays, i have Destiny but i didnt like it that much... CoD too, but whatever

Spelunky, Towerfall, Assassin's Creed IV and The Last of Us would be great.

All days, except thursday, I guess. And... some days in advance.

Might check, don't know. Normally not that much into streams, but I love PushSquare.

Too bad the PS4 is lacking really great multiplayer games.

Any day is fine as long as I have notfication

I don't mind either co-operative or competitive - It can still be co-operative in competitive if we are all on the same team

If they have a PS4 and can join in - why not... If streamed they can always watch if interested...

Nothing I can think of at this moment...

We up for anything this coming Friday? 7-8pm Gmt? Or Saturday.

Destiny (would be up for VOG again or a nightfall strike, would like to work toward doing the second raid down the line), Diablo (current or new chars, maybe new hardcores?) Helldivers (lotsa fun so far..), GTA (never really bothered with the online, could be a laugh) err...Nidhogg? Lol

Well this Friday might be a no go for me. I have something to do Thursday with my son that I might have to switch my Friday day off to do.

As for multiplayer games I current have

GTAV
Injustice: Gods Among Us

and whatever free ones PSN has had.

Saturday works, if it's going to be Diablo would like to get a hardcore character from 0>70 (not in one session I imagine!)

Well I might be able to do something Saturday but the problem with Saturday is the time difference. I live in California which is 8 hours behind the UK time wise. Saturdays I usually work from 8 am to 4:30 pm and dont get home till 5 PM which is around Midnight 1 AM UK time which means probably wont get started till about 2 AM UK or even later (due to me more likely eating some dinner when I get home). Then I work Sundays same schedule which means I am up about 6:30 Am PST.

Usually Fridays I do have off its just this week I got some tickets from a friend to go see a show with my son but the show is on Thursday and the tickets are non refundable so I need to do some switching with my schedule this week to be able to see the show with my son.

I will however add you though so if I happen to be on toss me an invite. Besides its nice to add players who play Diablo so that way we can send each other gifts.

Sorry for the long explanation.

I wouldn't mind doing a game night, i would recommend something were we all can talk or play together like a MMO or something, example be war thunder or battlefield 4, or ESO. There should be a thread with everyones PSN ID so we know who's who. Thats my idea and $0.02.

Guys can someone pick a game we will all play. And next weekend from Friday 15th - Sunday 17th if anyone here is on invite them. Simple. So what game?

It's a bit tough getting everyone on at once, as we've seen on Destiny we've only managed a team of 6 on two occasions, and that's one of the more popular online games lol. Im suprised Drive Club doesn't get a bit more action on here, it's fun online and people have it..
