Hey guys, I had a question about renewing your Playstation Plus Account. This was my first year of having a Playstation Plus Account, so will my subscription be renewed if I buy a 1-year subscription card? Or do I add money to my wallet?
If you have automatic renewal turned on and the money in your wallet or your credit card info on there it will do it for you. If not you can just buy a 3 or 12 month card and do it yourself. I always just buy a PS+ card myself. I don't like having my credit card info on there.
I have another question about PlayStation Plus. When you get Plus on PS4 for the first time do you have access to all free Plus PS4 games up to that point or only from that moment on? I know you only have access to those games as long as you are a member, but do you have to get a full year membership for getting access to those games or a shorter membership does work?
1) If you subscribe to Plus on March 2016, you'll only get the games from this month onwards.
2) You'll lose the free games once your membership expires, so I guess it depends on whether you still want to play those games or not. Discounted games, DLCs, avatars and themes you've purchased as a Plus member, those you get to keep.
@WanderingBullet: But you do regain access to any games you were entitled to and downloaded IF you renew your membership. For example If I downloaded 'Broforce' today and my Membership ended next week, I wouldn't be able to play Broforce from next week. However if I renewed my membership the week after, even a month or two later, I regain access to Broforce again and for any time that I have a PS+ membership. Games you download through IGC remain playable to you as long as you have an active PS+ membership - even if there is a break in that membership for whatever reason.
You can only download games for free, the month they are available and IF you have a PS+ membership, If you miss that opportunity for whatever reason - tough! If you only want 1 game in that month and can finish playing it that month, then a 1 month subscription may work for you. It is often more expensive per month to subscribe for the short term. It is possible though to access a 14day trial membership, download the free games and finish them in that time - however if not and you want to continue playing, you have to renew your membership.
Free games are the only thing affected by the status of your PS+ subscription (obviously not counting the online access) so anything bought that was discounted by your PS+ membership is not affected - its the same as if you paid full price.

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??
Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...
Also if you have PS+ active you can add ALL PS+ regardless of systems you have. Which mean you can also get the PS3 and Vita games as well and then if down the road you decide to get a Vita you will have a good library of games to start out with, as long as you he PS+

@VanillaLake: Because you get 6 games a month. 6 games is collection right?
