@get2sammyb @antdickens Ok so I understand that the ads help support this site but I am having problems with the amount now and especially the video type ones.

Now I don't own a PC so I view PS and do other Web actives on my phone but for the past few months now whenever I view both PS and NL the amount of ads just kills my phone. I experience slow loading, freezes, crashes and at times I can't even get to the site without getting a fail to load message. It has become such a nuisance that I dread coming here because it's just annoying have to deal with crashes and such.

Now any other site I go to I don't have this problem I can even watch youtube on my phone or Netflix and get no problems at all. But I have been having problems with NL and PS since you guy upted the amount of adds.

I don't want to use add block since I do want to support the sites but at this rate I might have to just to use them.

I currently use a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 if that helps. It has all the current updates and such if that helps.

I don't know if I am the only one experiencing this problem but it's really getting frustrating to me now so any help will be appreciated.

I have cleared cookies reset my phone, ran antivirals and everything else that I could think of yet the problem persists.

Again any help will be appreciated.

@Tasuki I've had this problem in the past and finally noticed the problem was caused by specific ads, rather than the amount. Not trying to say I know what your problem is, by the way. It is really difficult to find out in these cases what the exact cause of these problems are.

Just wish I could directly pay Push Square a monthly fee to have (even some of) them disappear.

Over the last couple weeks, I have experienced the pages on the site will sometimes repeatedly reload randomly in the middle of reading an article. Previously, the page would remain static once it completely loaded until I manually refreshed the page or clicked another link, although the comments in the articles do seamlessly update in real time. But now the whole page reloads without any prompt and so it does interrupt reading the site sometimes and so I likewise have had to just leave the site and go to a <cough, cough> competitor site to catch up on the day’s gaming news. Sounds like a different problem than yours, but maybe it’s related to ads too. The be fair, the page refreshes fairly promptly but it’s just annoying. I’m on an iPhone, by the way.

@KratosMD It's not my phone as no other site has this problem but PS or NL and even if I did check on someone else phone it wouldn't help since I can't always use theirs.

@Kidfried has a good idea. @get2sammyb @antdickens maybe you can even look into something like a Patreon where if people want to they can donate a amount they are comfortable with.

1. I don't think you have the authority to lock this thread
2. I don't see why it should be locked
3. Please don't derail threads.

Thanks.

On mobile at the bottom of every article below the comments the adverts read;

Video advert
Recommended for you
Trending on the web
Recommended for you
Trending on the web
Recommended for you
Video advert
Page footer

I think somethings gone wrong there. It used to be that trending on the web was above the comments then below the comments was Recommended for you and a video advert.

I think I have the same issue as themcnoisy. The issue seems to occur on the mobile version at the bottom of articles, it has been happening for quite a while now. Trending on the web and Recommended for you gets repeated twice, pretty sure that's not intended.
