Topic: Thread policy?

I wonder what your policy is about questions in threads? I have seen many threads being closed down when similar ones already exist and I totally understand that. So a few days ago I had a question about a game and I looked up a thread with that subject. A little while later Tasuki closed the thread and told me not to revive dead threads. Not easy to do the right thing here. No hard feelings, just want some guidance how to do ☺

A thread is considered dead after six months but there are some exceptions.

Obviously if a thread by someone looking for answer to a question and there hasn't been any activity for more then six months then yes the thread is dead. The OP more then likely found the answer by now or doesn't care anymore.

So for example if a post titled "How do I unlock ---- in ---- and it's last date was 2015 then it's dead.

As far as OT goes they don't have an expiration date as long as the revival post is relevant. So for example posting in an OT to discuss a new DLC coming out is fine. However a post in an OT that is more then six months old that is along the lines of " I like this game," or "Yeah I agree" basically something that is irrelevant and just design to bump a dead thread is not allowed.

I hope that clears it up. As always if you have any questions feel free to ask.

@DestinationPs No worries it can be a bit confusing. If you want feel free to check for a Crew OT to ask your question, and if there isn't one feel free to start one.
