@NicolaHayden: To a point yes. One of the things I really like about Nintendolife is that they cover retro games and the newer ones. I mean if say I put in google search for GTA V review I will get tons of sites like IGN, Gamestop, Metacritic and more if I put in some random PS one title for like example Suikoden I don't get to many mostly are just blogs or reviews from 10 to 20 years ago. It would be interesting to know maybe how these games hold up today and even have some current reviews for us retro gamers out there. I think it will broaden Pushsquare's look as more of a Sony sight rather then just a current gen site.

Nintendo Life has but Pure Xbox and this site are both missing the ability to let you look at all of your forum posts you made, I'd also like to have the option to look back at the topics I posted, something Nintendo Life doesn't even have yet.

It's not linked, but you can look at the forums posts you made on PS. Same might go for PX.

I'm very keen on the retro reviews as well, so that's 100% in the pipeline - it's just finding time. I know @JaimeO wants to spearhead this for us, so it's somethimg you can definitely look forward to over time.

As for overlooked gems, that's another thing I've wanted to do for a while, too. Again, watch this space.

Yeah I can see how adding these sorts of things would take up a loooooooot more time, but it's great to hear that you guys are on board with these ideas, as I think they'd be a great addition to the site and would really help to set Push Square apart from the crowd

From 16/08/15 Iā€™m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!

Yup, podcasts are always nice.

The problem with podcasts are that they are very time consuming and, realistically, we'd see very little reward from it. I do agree that there needs to be more video and personality driven content on the site, and it's something I'm eager to do, but it's just a case of finding a way to make it work with the constraints that we have.

To be honest, I'd love nothing more than to do a podcast, too, but it'd have to be a good use of resources, and it's just not something that we could really commit to right now without sacrificing other areas of the site. I'm glad y'all want it, though, and maybe one day we'll be able to get it to work. Never say never, etc.

This can be quite a problematic idea to a certain extent, but here it goes;

How about PushSquare clans/clubs/whatever they call it nowadays?

With community events and broadcasting, to get the community together. I understand it can be quite a hassle to manage, but with the Forum's influx taken into account I believe something could be worked out from this idea, and the community would benefit greatly from it, and the site by association.

We have had plans in the past for a Push Square clan/team etc. but for some reason they never get off the ground. I know Sammy talked about one for GTA V Online but that was all it was talk. I think the biggest problem is just coordinating a time that we all can meet since are users are spread all over the world getting a meet up time is a bit tricky.

Honestly I have been thinking of getting together for Diablo III problem is I am in California which is 8 hours behind the UK so alot of my game time people in the UK are asleep or vice versa. Usually when I get off work its about 4 in the morning UK time lol.

That is one of the reasons why it is problematic, but it can be divided between PushSquare EU and PushSquare US, back on the 360 days, i was part of a community that was starting that same plan up and it was quite amazing. Even got the chance to have transatlantic events, those were a blast.

I just see both communities on the same level, in the level of numbers and actual friendly people without all that trolling that you inevitably stumble upon anytime you go to the big ones for news and conversation with people that have something in common, so I'd just love to put that idea out there.

Implementing the ability to upvote & downvote comments

Personally I am against this idea. I honestly don't see the point of a upvote downvote or Yeah or neigh system or whatever you want to call it. To be truthfully I think its the dumbest idea. Other then that I can see it turning problematic as user will just yeah the users they like or matter what they say even if they are trolling other users and just downvote other people just because. Besides what the heck you want us to do with a post you guys down vote? Delete it? Go after the poster?

@xX_RiscazZ_Xx Community/clan things are definitely something I want to do, I just never get the time to organise it properly. I know Ant wants to build even more community features into the site, so the end result may be that you, as the users, end up curating these things for yourself. Definitely something I want to do, though.

@iGaymerGuyJudas We've discussed the idea of comments voting, but believe it should be only a positive thing. To that end, we're considering adding upvotes ā€” but we won't ever be adding down votes as that can be abused.

Please put red arrows on for dislikes. I'd have the record every week on here, ahaha.

The ability to report someone's profile, so if they do some bad there, or more importantly if we want to report someone's avatar.

I agree this would be very helpful. I have seen some questionable profile pics in the past.
