Ive had mine for around 3 years now.No problems with the console. 90 percent or more of my games are digital. If I use my ps4 slim to watch 2 or 3 blu ray movies a week,would it make any difference to the wear and tear of the console? Because I keep hearing the slim isn't as durable as the older fat ps4. Have blu ray player on my smaller tv. But the ps4 is connected to my bigger tv.
The disk spin six times faster during game installation than went watching a blu-ray. Using a PS4 as a Blu-ray player is one of the least demanding things you can do with it. @hulkie
