Topic: I'm an idiot and lost my account info along with my purchases

I got a PS5 and tried to transfer my PS4 info to it but it wouldn't work. My PS4 decided to s itself. Long story short, I had to factory reset the PS4. By doing so, I lost all my info, my profile, and my purchases. Anyone have any idea how to recover my stuff?

Call Sony and explain to them what happened. They are the only ones that can help you.

all thats tied to your account & all you did was remove your account off the console . the only way you'd really lose your account is if - you got banned , hacked , or de-activated it through their website . just log back in on the PS4 and all your downloads/purchases will be in your library , and your info is attached to your profile too. the only thing you really lost was - game-saves (if you didn't have cloud-features on) , and screenshots/videos since those are the only things that are stored on the hardware itself and aren't saved digitally in cloud .

i actually lost an account i had since childhood and had to start over & lost a lot in the process ; i wish i was in your position , you're lucky to me , lol .
