Topic: Downloading problem

So on Monday I decided to play some modern warfare. After a couple tries it kept kick me offline without playing a game. Tried one more time, the game cut of while I was waiting, a blue screen came up saying the data from following application is corrupted. Delete the game, reinsert the disk, and reinstall the game. So I did that, while the game was reinstall it to my extended harddrive. The download would get to a certain point then restart. I tried to play a new game on tuesday, in the middle of the game. It cut off and that same message came up. But this time I didnt delete the game. Can some one help me with what maybe happening? Thanks

are you sure you've installed the entire game?. it's something like 160gb — the vast majority of the game is not on the disc.. if i recall, it downloads in a few segments. the download doesn't "restart".. though it might look like the amount downloaded has gone back to 0, you should notice that the amount still to be downloaded is different. there have been a number of very large patches since it was released, so i don't know if infinity ward changed how it installs though.

otherwise try installing it onto the internal hd, to see if the external hd might the issue.
