Topic: Account Recovery

Hey guys.I have a problem.Years ago when PS3 was still around I made a US account (I am european) so I can buy something (I dont even remember what it was lol).I checked my PS3 after a long time and the users I had and I realised I didnt remember my password on that one.I dont remember my security questions either.I called on Sony in my country but they cant do anything since that's an american account and told me to contact the Sony in USA.Since I probably wont make an international call just for that,is there anything I can do ? An email or an online chat I can contact them ? I remember they used to have an online chat but I guess it is no longer around since I cant find it.Ps I still have access to that old email I used for the account but it wont let me reset my password without the security questions.Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming you don't remember the email address you used? If so, there's nothing you can do. I know because I'm in the same boat. Gave up a long time ago trying to recover it.

@TheIdleCritic Thanks for the reply.I remember the email adress i used and i have access to it.But when i try to recover it it wont reset the password if i dont answer one of the two security questions i had and i dont remember either of those (one of them is date of birth).

@gamer223 Oh I see. Unfortunately when it comes to accounts, there's really no work around if you forget information. No real advice can be given here

@TheIdleCritic I mean it says contact costumer support,it's just that i cant find it lol (at least not in the US).

@graysoncharles I have tried the chatbot but unfortunately it couldnt recover my account.I forgot to say that i have also forgotten my online name...Is there any way to check it ? I still have the user i used on my ps3.Also what do you mean i should try to create a ticket ? Thanks for the reply btw
