Not to be a negative Nathan, but am I the only one who feels this port was extremely poorly done? Is the frame rate even 20fps? Menus are laggy, shaders are pretty much non-existent, and controls are fairly unresponsive. When I double jump, my character literally jumps well off the field of view and the camera takes a few seconds to track the character....

Actual maps aren't too bad, but while in the ship, I feel like it's almost unplayable... luckily hardly anything happens there.

I feel like after all this time, I'm not sure I understand why this game was so difficult to port correctly. Many other cross buy/save games were released in a timely fashion and worked flawlessly.. maybe it was the budget maybe it was a horrible team.. either way. It's a disappointing port

Ah crud, really? Looks like my impulse-buying is gunna be kinda high this month.

This morning Sony emailed me with a message containing the actual code to enter on PSN, noting that maybe I never got the message on my PS3 as a reason for not redeeming...

I have no idea if this would work or not, but I know you can backup your PS3 files/saves/etc on a hard drive or flash drive. Is there a way he could do this then reclaim his downloads if something were to happen to his PS3 again?

As long as he could fit the full backup on that storage, yeah. It works as a system image so he'd lose anything he downloaded/saved since running the backup.

Really though, as long as you can log into the PSN, you'd be able to re-download the games straight from the store anyways. I think what he's worried about is losing access to his account or something. He wouldn't be in a good position to ask Sony for help re-gaining access to his account since the support isn't even in his country.

Personally, it's not something that worries me all that much. Just make very certain that when you make the UK account, you set the password recovery options as up-to-date and use a strong password. As long as you can do that, you should be fine! Also, even if you did have a problem getting into the account, I don't think they'd bother to check where an email came from

I got a $10 code as well interestingly enough. I just recently bought a $50 card to renew my PS+ subscription, so that could be part of it.

Looking at your Backloggery, I think you might enjoy Demon's Souls. I think it's $20 and not $10 right now, but check out some videos on YouTube and read some reviews. Might be your style of game.

Sonic 06 wasn't the worst game ever... Sonic's story is pretty weak though. Shadow and Silver is where it shines most though.

Lol no. Maybe storywise Silver's was better, but gameplay-wise Silver's section was pitiful, and Shadow's section was Shadow the Hedgehog 1.5. And that's no where near a compliment. Sonic's section was the best gameplaywise, even if it still wasn't that good.

Episode II is effing awesome. It's of course not as good as Generations, but I wasn't expecting it to be.

I forgot to gameshare it with my friend when it came out but I'm gonna do it next weekend. Can't wait to play it!
