Activision To Release Fewer “Hero” Games In ‘10, Still More DJ, Guitar, Band Hero On The Way

Hopefully There'll Be Less Franchise Milking From Activision All Around Next Year. We Can Wish, Right?
Hilariously, in an interview with MCV, Activision’s Guitar Hero brand CEO Dan Rosensweig has confirmed that there are already future iterations of DJ Hero, Guitar Hero and Band Hero in the works. Thankfully, those games aside, there will be fewer SKUs in the “Hero” franchise next year all together.
Hopefully this means an end to “Guitar Hero: Generic Rock Band No-One Cares About,” and Activision ploughing their resources into making their three music franchises better/different.
