There'll Be No Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Reset Tomorrow.
Modern Warfare 2 isn’t even out yet. If you didn’t know, it’s out tomorrow. But hey, lots of people already have the game. So will their multiplayer stats be reset so that everyone is on an even playing field come launch tomorrow? Infinity Ward’s community manager Robert Bowling says no. “Any players who purchased a legit retail copy will not be reset or banned. Only modded / pirate versions will be,” he said.
Look out for those folks with the really good guns then.
