I had a 360, sold it, and now have a PS3, and the PS3 community is MUCH better.

Quality not quantity. XBox Live is full of 12yr old Americans screaming constant abuse into their mics. I don't want to pay for that.

Most of my mates now how a PS3 too, and it's the way gaming is going. Valve are just locking themselves out in the cold and making it harder to swallow their pride later on, when it's obvious they are supporting a niche 360 market, and ignoring a 70% PS3 dominance.

Really can't get over this, Valve are one of the few Dev's I have proper respect for. For me gamers are gamers, who give's a fuck what console you play, not every one can afford/wants all consoles, so to pick out one community is shameful at best, time to pop over to Valve forums and get a little personal…

It makes you wonder if ol' Valve have picked up a DualShock in the last year. He says the “community aspects really fit” Left 4 Dead. What aspects would they be? Cross-Game Chat? I mean, that's the one major remaining advantage of being XBOX Live these days right? And even Modern Warfare 2 is not supporting that completely now.

I really do wonder if Valve have touched a PS3 in the past 2 years, or if they still it's 2007 — at which point the guy might have a point.
