To clarify all these "dumbest article I've ever read ZOMG" comments -- the real news lies in the fact that Famitsu - Japan's biggest gaming publication - basically came out and said, "yo, the PS3 version ain't all that great, you should buy the 360 one," yet - the PS3 version outsold the 360 by more than 2:1. Yes, it's just a repeat of where Japanese gamers loyalties lie, but hey, for that alone the story is worthwhile.

And you guys are kidding yourselves if you think that an Eastern focused game is going to sell massive numbers over the PS3 on the 360 here in the West. It'll be marginal at best over here.

There is what, 10X as many PS3's in Japan? LOL..... this is just about the dumbest thing I have read in the past month.
This won't even come close to happening in the US, if it happened there, THAT would be a story. By the way, Japan is becoming less and less relivent in the gaming world globally. If we went by what Japan buys gaming wise the only thing we would be talking about would be sappy jrpg's. While the rest of the world plays shooters, Japan is playing wordy jrpg's, eyepets and 3 ringed wizzle birds.

What the hell did you expect in JAPAN!? It will be another story here in the states, believe me.

Well I do tend to give credit where credit is due. The above article is incomplete, in my opinion, and should also have mentioned that the only reason Bayonetta sold so well is because there are 3 or 4 times more PS3 than there are 360s in Japan, it's only fair. I'm not saying one version is better than the other, but given the statistics for North America and Europe, it is likely that Bayonetta will sell more on the 360. Probably not by many, I completely agree with get2sammyb, but still enough to set bloody fanboys alight.

Considering the PS3 sells better than the 360 in the land of the rising sun, this is clearly obvious! However, what the article doesn't say is that the sales of 360 in Japan has grown overnight with the release of Bayonetta. When this gem of a game gets released in North America and in Europe, you can bet your bottom dollar that the 360 version will outsell the PS3 version. Watch this space!

I'm not so sure. If it does, it'll be marginal.
