Fallout 3 Took The Biggest Prize At The Golden Joysticks.

We’ve been very jealous today. While reading our surprisingly buoyant journo colleagues Tweets from sunny ol’ London, we’ve been sat here in the gloomy Midlands typing stuff. Still, DJ Hero did come in the post. Score.

Over in London though, a real party has kicked off as Fallout 3 won the annual Golden Joysticks “Ultimate Game Of The Year”. Over 1.2 million votes were cast in the awards, a massive 47% jump over last year.

    Bizarre.

I've loved every minute of the numerous hours I've spent on Fallout 3, but it's odd that a game this bugged on all platforms can even be considered as a GotY contender.
  • Paranoimia
Absolutely! Especially in the early stages, before you gain experience and improve your stats, it can be very unforgiving.
  • I'm quite surprised Fallout 3 won aswell. You get a lot of people voting in these awards and, well, Fallout isn't the most accessible game is it?
