Sony Start “Official Licensing” Scheme To Encourage Third-Party Playstation Peripherals

If You See This Logo On Your Peripherals, You Can Probably Assume It's Pretty Good.
Sony Computer Entertainment announced today plans to expand the “Official Licensing Program” for Playstation peripherals for the PS3, PS2 and PSP.
“By entering into a license agreement with SCE through this program, peripheral and accessory manufacturers will gain access to technical documentations necessary for designing and creating variety of licensed products for PlayStation platforms.”
So basically, Sony get to put more stuff on the shelves and we get better quality stuff. Win-win.
