Infinity Ward creative strategist, Robert Bowling, has confirmed on Twitter that there won't be an over-the-top Prestige Edition released for Modern Warfare 3
The game will instead settle for a $99.99 Hardened Edition, priced some $20 steeper than previous versions.
The Hardened Edition includes a 12-month subscription to Call Of Duty: Elite, so it's not necessarily a bad deal. We would have preferred some night-vision goggles or a remote control car too though.
