It Really Does Sound Like The Sky Is The Limit With Regards To Sony's PlayStation Suite Initiative.

We already know Sony plans to extend the service with new bite-sized content, but it sounds like the platform holder's also keen to bring the program to as many platforms as possible.

"We have a completely open stance," SCE gaffer Kaz Hirai told ImpressWatch. "With carriers and with handset makers."

Hirai added: "There are a variety of OSes. But we're focusing first on Android. There's also Windows, iOS and so forth, but we don't have the resources to make it compatible with everything from the start."

Hirai noted that Sony's aiming for smartphones first, but PlayStation Suite will be coming to Android tablets too. Stressing how versatile Sony's planning to be with Suite though, Hirai added: "We're not ruling out PSS even on products like Sony Internet TV Powered by Google (Google TV) if adoption rate increases, or if it will help push adoption greatly."

We explained why we believe PlayStation Suite is Sony's ace-card through the link.
