E3 2009 Build Up - Most Anticipated: #1; Heavy Rain.
Heavy Rain has us intrigued from every angle. Here’s a game from the developers behind the obsessively original Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy that promises to break preconceptions of the adventure game from every angle. A game that promises to push the Playstation 3 further than any other game in order to provide a narrative compelling “noire thriller”. David Cage’s vision is the thing our dreams are made of.
Interestingly, we’re not particular concerned with Quantic Dream giving too much away. Of course we want to know more, but much in the same way we experienced Fahrenheit, we want to go into this game fresh. We want subtle plot teasers and a gameplay demonstration, but no more. It’s catch-22 for all of us here at PushSquare; we’re literally yearning for Heavy Rain, but at the same time, the first time we experience that game we want it to be unforgettable. Just like Fahrenheit.
