Burnout Paradise: Toy Cars (DLC) on Playstation 3 Review
The Burnout Paradise Toy Cars update adds a selection of 9 new rides, all designed with toys in mind. The cars genuinely look, sound and handle great. Our favourites are the biker (complete with super deformed rider) and the Hunter Manhattan but they all look good.
Like we mentioned, the cars handle great, lifting from the ground when boost is applied and floating through the air upon hitting jumps. If you’ve never driven a toy car (we have – Ed) then this pack in Burnout Paradise will give you the closest representation of shrinking down to toy size and hopping into a Matchbox automobile.
The only real problem – and it’s a big one – with the toy cars are their price. At £9.99/$12.50 for the full set we recommend picking your favourite and just buying that on its own. Even then the price is steep.
Charming but way overpriced.
