At least all the the bonus costumes and the Arena with all the challenges, such as "Challenge of the ________". Like "Challenge of the Gods" and "Challenge of the Titans" of the previous games.

I would want A 8.5 inch kick ass figure. It would be nice if it included chains of olympus. if they have those i'll buy this game no matter how much it cost.

The soundtracks would be awesome to have in the collectors addition. You SHOULD VERY MUCH PUT A FIGURE OF KRATOS in with this, and if you choose to do a figure, it would be best if the figure barely fit in the collectors case: meaning its a big figure and not some small thing that can jus brake or looks undetailed. First of all I would like the game to be packed in a like-stone case wich could resemble a milenarium stone wich tale the story of Kratos, the ghost of sparta. I it I would include a limited editon Kratos figure, a couple of the omega-logo stickers, an athena's blade keychain, a t-shirt, previous games remastered in blue ray and all the behind the scenes videos from all god of wars...

I think it should include a Blu ray disc of the old god of war since ps3 arnt all compatible with ps2 games with a steel case and tshirt

The ultimate collectors editions should have god of war 1 and 2 ported over with blue ray in 1080p if possible and some extra bonuses. It would even be nice to have a blue ray port of chains of olympus in 1080p. Additional artwork and figurines with be a nice way to sweeten the deal to with a steel case. Hell batman arkham asylums collectors edition is gonna have a batarang, why not include the blades of chaos? lol

What I think you should include on the collector's edition is 2 or 3 whole console ps3 or x box skins Gow 1 2 3 and chains of olympus for THE ps3 and x box and the thing for the big bucks isssssss well either the blade of Olympus of the blades of chaos and a gorgans\cyclops eye and put everything in and awsome steel case . i acualy dont care what you put in I just know im going to buy it hatever the price is!

I can still play GOW 1&2 on my 60G PS3. Yet I would love to see GOW 1,2 & Chains Of Olympus in a PS3 playable format. Anything else like exclusive DLC's would be a bonus. Skins, weapons, ect. Are you listening SONY!!! The fans have spoken!

Well beside the older God of War games (and they don't even have to be revamped on blu-ray), I would love to have a nice big booklet with background informations on greek mythology e.g. about the enemies and stuff you meet. Of course with many nice big pictures.
It would be also nice to have the possibility to play with two players like a co-op mode.

I would say the ultimate special addition for the fans would be athena blades replica and kratos figurine with a stand for both of them and 1 and 2 revamped on blu-ray. Maybe even an animated collectors edition film of one and 2. The behind the scenes and art books are too usuall, not saying I wouldn't like it but I believe this would be ultimate. possibly another version could be the sword of olympus (the blue one from GoW2) replica and a diff. form kratos like dark odissy. You know things like that, things that would make the fans cherish the collection forever not that they shouldn't already but we would love it all that much more.

The best ce would be to include a pandora's box filled with an artbook, soundtrack, the making of the game, details about the possible movie, a figurine of kratos stabbing zeus himself, god of war 1&2 along with part 3, all in 1080p,a poster of kratos killing zeus, and finally a collectible replica of the deadly BLADES OF CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i would easily put down 275 dollars for the ultimate collectors edition.

Gotta say "thanks for asking", makes quite a difference. My suggestion would be DEFINITELY include GOW 1,2 and maybe "Chains.." playable on ps3, a "making of" and either some sort of movie, or all the cutscenes from 3 and previous games.

All things considered the figure is a must like a PVC of Kratos sitting in the chair of Aries or something like that. A steel case is also a must with diffrent case art and art book as pre-order give away would be sweet, or even a cyclopse eye key chain i think would be epic. Blu-ray with special features is alway appreciated and I think an extra in game map or costume or weapon would be sweet. Just the fact yor asking instead of just giving out art books (DEADSPACE) is cool.

I would like to see it packaged with GOW 1 and 2 on blu-ray, if it isn't going to be put into the playstation store. If it is, I'm gonna go with a t-shirt, a figurine, a poster, a "making of" disc, and possibly a collectible art book being packaged with GOW 3. extra alternate skins including all the gods and mini versions of the titans. maybe an extra level. cool case. a feature that allows you to bring back all old magic and weapons from the previous games. and an exclusive new weapon.

How about a DLC to weapons,skins and powers from previous games

A separate disc or if it can fit(it shouldn't) a special feature where you can play certain levels, or completely new levels, where you can play as other characters with different abilities, including titans and gods preferably. It'd also be cool to be able to play 'Betrayal' and 'Chains of Olympus' on the PS3, kind of like how MGS3: Subsistence had Metal Gear 1 & 2 with it on a PS2 disc.

Super Doper Triology would be a kick ASSSSSSSS and 100$ is the best price to pay for it

I know this wouldnt be in the'God Of War III Collector’s Edition' but I would love to see a speicalised console for god of war 3, like they are doing for 'Yakuza 3 ' and 'Resident Evil 5'. i would buy that instantly.

Apart from that i would love a book with all the concept art in it, combined with a dvd about the artist and where the ideas came from, and why they dint make the final cut etc.

The only major character in "greek mythology" that has not been touched upon

For a collector's edition, the 1st 2 games could be included in ps3 format with an extra level or content added for each game.

You could do something with the concept of Kratos' brother.

If it hasn't been added in the new game, DLC of a final battle or levels including hercules is absolutely necessary, as he is the epitomy of greek mythology and Zeus' favorite son. He is basically the only major character in god of war that has not been touched upon.

I say take advantage of that Blue-ray! Dedicate a segment showcasing what is was like developing the game utilizing theoretically everything the PS3 hardware has to offer and explain the new technology you have implemented. Teach as as if we were game design students. Let us see the design process through your eyes similar to what was done on the original God of War disc for PS2. ... And don't forget to include an impressive T-Shirt(XL) and poster! The downloadable content should be accessible to all consumers.

The biggest thing that I want is in game content. a level in the game for only the limited edition customers. a steel case would also be nice, and i wouldn't say no to a figurine.

How about making sure people in the UK get the collectors edition.

P.S. A costume of Kratos in a business suit would be good, and he could have two brief-cases as weapons.

1) I want an Arena like in GOW 1. Where u can walk up to stuates and than click x and u will see a discription. Like in GOW 1 u had the Kratos with blue tatoos. An the enemies. But this time the gods and the titans. (so a very big arena)

2) Behind The scene. So u can learn something about everyone who worked on this. What they did and how they think it turned out.

3) Some information or trailers about the GOD of WAR movie.

4) Extra unlockeble costumes for Kratos. Like Zeus, Hades or even Ares would be cool.

5) I would like to see Artwork or posters.

13) The main cutscenes behind eachother so it tells the story. Begin with GOW Chains Of Olympus cutscenes. However i don't really see how GOW 1 first cutscene connects to the end of Chains Of Olympus. Because he already killed Ares at the begin of GOD of WAR 1. He jumps down and than u go back two weeks. Telling the story about Killing Ares and than go up the mountain again where he lands at the end of Chains Of Olympus. So if GOW 1 begins where Chains Of Olympus ends he already is The God Of War. But I'm losing the subject :D.
Begin with the cutscenes of Chains Of Olympus, Then the cutscenes of GOW 1, then GOW 2 and then the new cutscenes of GOW 3. That would be awesome.

14) An extra level would be very cool.

15) Mini games u can play with friends. Everyone picks a maincharacter in the story. Than u can play games like who kills the most enemies. Who collects the most Cyclops eyes like u had to collect 20 cyclops eyes in GOD of WAR 2. Or different puzzles and who solves it the first wins it. Or a race where u need to run, jump, and do some walkclimbing. Or walrunning like I saw in the trailer. But don't turn it into Mario Party :P.

16) It would be cool to be a Titan. Like walking around a city and try to destoy it as quiclky as possible. Or destroy buildings and get points for that. And then try to collect as many points as you can before u get killed.

17) (also on the extra blue-ray disk). A video about that big war of the Titans VS the gods. Try to put a little story into that. And than Zeus creates the Blade Of Olympus and wins the war.

18) The Making Of. From GOW 1 to GOW 3.

19) I would like to play that African guy that someone made as caracter design shown in GOW 1 extra's. Before Kratos even existed. He looked pretty cool.

20) The Boss battles from previous games.

21) Extra downloadble content. Or a code. Who bought the normal edition needs to pay for the downloadeble content and for those who bought the collectors edition needs to put in the code and can download it for free :D.

22) It don't need to be in a steel case. Maybe just an other cover.

23) More trophies to collect and get more gamer points.

24) Other finishers. Like with the medusa looking enemies u can only pull her head of. But wouldn't it be cool that u can pull her head of if u stand in front her and press o and u can strangle her with her own tail if ur standing behind her and press o.

25) Maybe a what if story. Like what if the Titans won the great war or what if Kratos never killed his wife and daughter. He would be still working for Ares. U can make a movie of that or put some gamplay in.

26) Just some battles againt some random gods.

27) Some information about the childhood of Kratos. If Zeus was his father i think he has a nice childhood.

28) An even more difficult mode. Name it Chaos mode. There are way more enemies in this mode. And it would fit with the first trailer of GOD of WAR 3.

29) More upgrades for ur weapons. Make it powerfuller and more combos and moves.

30) A survival mode. Ur standing on an crawling Titan. The titan is crawiling through the sea. And waves of enemies are coming at u. And u need to survive until the Titan reach land or an island where u can jump of the Titan and escape from the enemies.

I have been reading all you guys' comments on this rare opportunity of making our own GOW 3 special edition package. I posted my own comment for what I want and I took the official survey on playstation network. I do agree with this guy though. In this special edition package what I want most of all is GOW 1&2&3 as well as chains of olympus in Blue-Ray to play on the PS3.

The first two games revamped for the PS3 would be cool, but I wonder how much work that really is. Hopefully not to much!

All of the soundtracks would be the greatest thing to throw in; especially if there are special editions of those too.

An art book would be a timeless item to receive as well.

I'd like to see a special edition with a revamped version of GOW1 and 2. Would settle for a 3 pack with the first two original games. I had never played GOW, a friend let me use GOW1 and loved it. I havent played 2 was waiting to here if they were going to release a SE with all 3.

God of War I and II released on Blu-Ray. Hell, you could charge 50$ for each of those installments, and you'd make your money back in a matter of months

1. A blackgrounded steelcase with silver blades of athena and some zombies and stuff that he's slaughtering and you can see much blood on the steel case.

I think that an extra level would be a bit to much, but here are my ideas:

I'm tired of Games that say they have cool stuff with there collectors editions but when I look at it I just shake my head in disappointment.
Money wouldn't be a problem if it was worth it. So as long as they listen to what the fans want, I'll buy it. And the true fans will buy it.

What I I want is:

- GOW 1 & 2. Playing it on one system is worth it to me.
- Someone said a CG movie that might be cool but has to be Blu-Ray
- Cover art that makes it worth to buy it. Don't care that much for a tin case.

how about a tribute to the whole god of war series? from the very first ideas of David to the final masterpiece which we call god of war. it would be interesting if it included a video of the story of Kratos.

I want GOW 1 and 2 packaged in with the ability to play as next gen kratos throught the first 2 GOW games after you beat part 3 of course.

If a collectors edition is made have all the games use one set of button configurations so that those who havent been introduced to the series wont have to go through the dilemma of "learning" new buttons.

Hopefully in this collectors edition you can include chains of olympus in a disc format as it completes the series.

1) design the pandora tin box as CE (the opener of the CE box designed same as the pandora box and not the cheap tin box)or design the CE like the e-capcom limited edition of Biohazard 5 that contained lots of goodies.
2) Artbook of all GOW games..if can in painting style just like the same painting style for myth, 1 high quality action figure (like in Biohazard: Degeneration Blu-ray limited box figurine) with more than 1 person like myth statue (for example Kratos in the middle of killing Zeus and Athena beg for mercy….most of the idea can be search from Italy Rome statue design)
3) OST from all GOW games
4) all GOW game trailer in Blu-ray with making of all GOW include everything and moment to create these series…..
5) since it is M rated game…why not include some M rated items…
6)and also the background stories was taken from myth…why not research some italy, rome, and other place which have related to the myth and create the collectible item that related to the myth instead the cheap crap…..
7) the game cover must be uniq such as 2d paint with 3d view or anything that good enough for CE….

I think a gods head would be awesome instead of a case,and you crack it open to get the figure of Kratos, and some like extra weapons, costumes, and levels, as well as art book, and a "making of" video :)

I would like to see a quality tin case--think Halo 2--. I would love to see a soundtrack, art book, and making of in the CE. And if possible, a quality Kratos figure (no bad Altair or Big Daddy).

So far I think theres been some great ideas but, I doubt that SCE will put god of war 1 and 2 into the collectors edition, I think at best we should at least be given a discount voucher code for both games when they are inevitably put on the playstation network. Don't wanna be a killjoy but I doubt they would go to the effort of porting the games for the ps3 with 1080 or 720 just for a collectors edition.

1) I think the Blades of Chaos keychain idea would be awesome.

3)Possibly in Home stuff e,g, a statue or weapon to put on the wall lol

The biggest thing i cant think sony can do is come out with a red god of war ps3 bundle like they did the psp....i would buy another one just because of that. But as far as the game i would like to see some type of special case that looks like an ancient greek book. a figurine is cool, bonus dvd/bluray, and in game content only available in collectors edition

What i would want would be:

1) A 'directors cut' playable level showing David Jaffe's take on how he wanted GOW III to end.
2) If (1) doesn't work out, then just a video.
3) A huge GOW III / Kratos poster.
4)A sort of GOW III 'skin' to stick on the PS3 and/or controller.
5) Exclusive trailer to the next GOW project. My guess for the next GOW would be about Kratos' brother. Remember the video on GOW one?
6) More(if there are) trophies with the collectors edition.
7) Blu-ray movie( like sanj_rana said) depicting kratos' life.

This is my idea for the collectors edition box.

1) A 6" Kratos Figurine. There would be 4 different types. You get one in the box so it makes them more of a collectors item.
2) A concept art book with a quick back story for series new comers.
3) A code to download a theme, and 4 wallpapers. you get a different wallpaper depending on your code so this makes it more collectable.
4) The actual game in a steel book, with 4 different front covers. you get one front cover with each collectors edition so it is more of a collectors item. The contents of the collectors edition should be in a card box with a window on the front so you can see the figurine.
5) A making of Blu-ray disc.
6) A Blades Of Chaos Key ring.
7) A Kratos outfit for home.
8) A t-shirt that will make you look like you have Kratos' body. So like Blades of chaos on the back and whatever. hopefully that makes sense cos that would be so cool.

Thats pretty much it. I would easily be willing to pay upwards of £150 for that. ( £150 is roughly $200 I think). Try get it as close to this as possible because it would be fucking badass.

GOW 2s special disk was very good. It was fun to watch how all the magic hapened behind the scenes. One thing I wanted for GOW 2 was those mini storys that GOW 1 had in the special section. Those were awesome!!!!

I agree with a Kratos figure of some kind..whether 8 inch articulated or super-deformed.

I love the idea someone had of an extra level that the normal game doesn't have.

Also, I would love a God of War animated blu-ray movie. I would love to be able to put in a movie and watch God of War in CG or cartoon form. It could be a condensed version of Kratos' whole journey to kill Zeus or maybe just a video of the fight scenes made up to "canonalize" the battles Kratos went through, ending of course with Kratos vs. Zeus (or whoever you fight at the end of GoW3).

Finally, a poster, or t-shirt, or something else hangable would be the icing on the cake.

i would like to see a "super deformed" style kratos action figure along with realistic gorgon eye and phoenix feather packaged in a treasure chest type box that you can only open by pressing R1, how cool is that?

An extra level or something would be totally cool, but I think a weapon would be more likely. If Santa Monica could come up with a crazy weapon for Collectors only, that would be insane.

I want a figure of kratos stabbing his blade though a minnion or it it was like an ultimate collectors then maybe a blade of chaos. I want to have diffrent artwork than the normal edition. Keep all the making of videos like you had in the last 2 god of wars. Don't really care if it comes in a steel case or not. Finally and MOST IMPORTANTLY I think that if you buy the collectors edition you should have accecces to some in games content that the normal one dosnt have. ie a deleted level or some new weapons.

Honestly sounds kind of dull but, I'd love to see a DVD of the design choices made within the game. I'd love to hear more about how they come up with the story, the characters, the enemies, etc. What inspired them. That kind of thing would really interest me as a fan.
